Well...

I decided to post something tonight because everyone else has failed to post anything. I was in class and was expecting something to read, but alas nothing. So that means everyone gets to hear my lame stories. So as everyone knows my house is on the market. It was on the market less then 24 hours and I had my first offer, I just sent them a counter offer but it everything goes as planned, this house will be sold very soon. Who ever said the housing market is slow, hasnt tried buying a home in Utah. Its looking really promising on the purchase of the new house as well. Im trying not to get my hopes up since the house almost slide through our hands before.
Today was my final day for that particular, that means I have 2 more classes to go before I am done with this round. Once I am done, I think I am just starting back up again on the next level. Its a shame I cant become a career student and never have to work again. Anyways, I really dont know much, I still am having problems with my car, still trying to pack junk away in my house, and still trying to find time to sleep. Thats all for tonight and I hope there are more blogs to read tomorrow.

Food time...

Here I am in class again(2 more courses to go then I am done) and I was hungry so I went down to the cafeteria to get something to eat. They really don’t have the best selection, but it is food. Since I always see others posting what they are eating, I wanted to add my gourmet treat to the world of the internet. Tonight I am having some type of mashed potato with BBQ pork. I have had this before and it wasnt to awful. However tonight I received a bonus. The lady dishing up the food asked me if I wanted CHEESE!!!! Awesome.… Well I couldn’t pass up the cheese, I’m not sure if it changes the actual flavor of it. However as many of you know, I have been recently diagnosed as an addicted to milk products. So when I have the opportunity to have cheese or milk, I am required by law to partake of it. Since I am not fond of breaking the law on some things, I had accept the cheese or face the consequences of my actions.

On a related note to food, me and scrat are no longer dating because she will not let me have my buttered corn. Now you might ask if I mean buttered popcorn, but no I mean taking a stick of butter, putting it in a bowl with a can of corn and then eating it. Well she has the audacity to say that this is not healthy. The last time I tried eating this delightful goodness, she actually poured the yummy buttery soup down the drain. All the time she was saying something about heart attacks and other hocus-pocus.

Well, That’s all for tonight, the teacher is making us take a closed book quiz so I guess that means no internet for me.

Im Bored......

I now wonder what it would be like to be bored all the time, I remember back when I was a kid that I did have the occasion of being bored. This was before computers were in every house, if not in every room of the house. I might have had a my fair helping of A.D.D., but I seemed to find stuff to do to keep me occupied. Whether is was shooting birds in the backyard, throwing things at my neighbors, tormenting my brothers and sisters, I kept myself pretty busy. I did however find times where I was just bored and I couldn’t do anything about it. It seemed like time was going so slowly and the day would never end. Looking back, I long for those type of days. Not necessarily the tormenting of siblings or the killing of every bird in my hometown, but the feeling of pure boredom and the feeling that the day would never end. This isn’t some kind of jab at the young Tennessean’s whom I know, but they did get me on this thought process.
My life is currently a non-stop, event packed whirlwind tour of nothing but school, homework, work, repairing cars, maintain a house, maintaining fish, and trying to take care of dogs (poorly at that). Now that list of “chores” might shound like a lot in its own right, however as the infomercials say, “but that’s not all” To this list of daily duties, which I have been at without a break for nearly 3 years, I also am trying to maintain a relationship with the also extremely busy scrat( or scratty as aNon calls her). As if either of us had any extra time to waste, everyone knows that we are selling our homes and trying to find a new one. I would have to admit we didn’t plan this house thing out very well. We never anticipated that TWO houses we wanted would sell before we could make an offer. Therefore, with the non-existent time that we have to breath, we now spend the minutes between all the other activities we have to search for homes. What is the point to all of the ramblings in this blog? Well, I guess in a way it me wishing I could have a day, a week or even a month where I could feel extremely bored. That sounds like a nice state to stay in. I know my schedule is packed but I also have a feeling that there are many others who have the same lack of time as I and all can sympathize with my desire to just do nothing. So I guess the moral of the story is, when your parents tell you to enjoy the boredom while you have it because as many things in life, it does not last very long.

The Project.

Well, for the last week, I have been slowly working on switching out the engine for my car. The car is one that I bought a while ago and have been planing on switching out the engine for a while since it eats oil, like I eat cheese...So a few days ago, I started the project. I can only work on it every once and a while due to my busy life. I actually pulled the engine out last night at about 2:30am and today have been taking parts off the old engine that I have to use on the new engine. These include main wiring harness, misc sensors, transmission, and a ton of other little parts. I spend most of the day trying to disconnect the transmission from the old block. That really turned into a big job, then I realized that I forgot to unbolt the intermediate shaft, crap. Anyway, I achieve disconnect at about 4, then I began switch out other things. Unfortunately I am currently stuck, I was making Good progress until I realized the power steering bracket from the old engine doesn't fit the new engine. Now I have to locate a part before I can finish that section. I will still be able to do a few things here and there but since I came to that stopping point, I came in to play on the Internet to find some parts. Now that I am inside, I don't know if I want to go back out to the oily and cold garage.

Here is a pic of the progress

Memories

Well, I just so happened to find this old picture on an old online image account I had forgotten about. Some of you know that I had a hard drive fail on my laptop about a year ago and I lost over 7 years worth of pictures. (This make me some times wish I has the old photographs that aren’t digital.) Anyways, I use to have a ton of pictures from when I had a more exciting job. I was kind of excited when I found this one. This is a picture of my SWAT team or "stick." They are all great guys and I miss all the excitement, but I don't miss dealing with the scumbags of the world.
Can you tell which one I am? (hint: I'm wearing sunglasses)
