It's getting there...
It has been a little while since I have been able to update the status of the new "Pears Place."
While we were out driving on the Legacy Parkway we happened to see a new Ivory Homes subdivision. In that subdivision we found a house being build that is going the the same model as ours. Since we have never even seen what our house is going to look like when it is done, besides in pictures, we decided to head over and take a look. Luckily the people at Ivory are very helpful and they gave us a key to the home so we could go walk through it. Since there were workers in the home putting down the carpet, we didn't take any pictures of the inside of the home, but here is a picture of the exterior. Other than a few colors, this is pretty much what the "Pears Place" will look like.
So here are some pictures to give my faithful viewers an idea of how everything is going.

That's all for this blog

It's getting bigger....
These last few days have been completely exhausting. I once thought I had a fairly busy life until baby k came into the picture. I am truly luckily that I have scrat around to help out.
The other night at about midnight, I had the opportunity to change baby k's diaper. For anyone who has not had the chance to do this, you are really not missing out on anything. I had previously changed one diaper so you would thing I would have this process down. (me and scrat have a deal, I pick up the dog poop and she changes the baby diapers.) Well the previous diaper I changed was during the day and it wasn't to bad. Well, this time it was completely different...baby k was very very awry, tired, hungry...all with a dirty diaper. At first, under the dimly lit night light, everything seemed to be going fine. I got the messy diaper almost off, then baby k started to rebel...kicking and screaming like a baby possessed. I couldn't keep a hold of her. She was kicking the old diaper, kicking the new diaper. It was making a mess EVERYWHERE. Scratz offered to help but by dammit, I was bound and determined to accomplish this diaper change. I was finally able to get the old diaper out of the way of the flailing feet. Just as I think I start to have everything under control, I reached for the baby powered...which I assumed was already open...and nothing came out. Trying to hold the baby's feet, while turning the top of a baby power bottle (in the dark) is a disaster in the making. Without going into all the details, in that 5 minute period I swore off changing any diapers or having any other children as long I live (or until scratz tricks me again)

For Geoffy-boy...
I remember reading a while back on Geoffrey's blog about his preferred way to have his toilet paper. Seeing this today reminded me of his blog.
So Geoffy-boy enjoy
