A sound footing...

Here are the latest pics from the house build. It is slowly coming along. Hopefully they will get a head of schedule and we can start seeing the shape of the house shortly.

The only discuraging thing we did find out is that the land next to us is building their house at the same time. The problem with this is...they are right on top of us. It appears the back of their house will be directly next to the side of ours. Here is the dirt island between the two.



We rolled out to the dirt again today after the Dr. appointment. (by the way the baby could be here at any moment so watch for that update).
As of today they have poured the footings for the house.


here is a larger shot of the footings as you can clearly see, scratz is not as big as a house yet.


Once again here is a shot of the lovely scratz on the island between the houses. I still cant believe they decided to put their house so close to the property line. As you can see in the large shot there is a string that runs parallel to the holes which marks the property line, their hole is inches from this line. what a pain. (I guess on a positive light I will be able to look in their house all I want and I hope they have naked Thursdays!!!)
