Todays events

Today was my very first Wednesday that I had no work, no school, and no real plans. For what I had hoped to be a uneventful day, it was full of frustration. My plan to sleep in until noon or so was dramatically interrupted by a little girl at 9am who was hungry and needed some cereal. After getting her some coco puffs, I figured since I was already up, I would start messing around with my fish tank. I have been having problems with my calcium reactor and a few of my power heads. So I began working on the tank, however every 2 minutes, I had to watch the little girl who had more energy than anyone should have and required me to watch everything she was doing. So I decided we would go outside so I could adjust the sunroof on my car and let her ride her razor scooter around to help her get rid of some of that energy. While she was doing this, she changed her mind and decided to ride her bike instead. This apparently required me adjusting the handlebars and the seat since she is bigger than she was last year. After I got done with that the little one decided that she was hungry again. Anyways, I still was able to adjust my sunroof, right before the UPS man arrived. He brought me the replacement pump for my skimmer, which died last week. (if it’s not one thing broken on the tank it’s another). I decided to head in to try to get that pump switched out, only to find the older girl at my house was still in bed and it was almost noon. Once she got up, she was just as needy as her little sister. She wanted something to eat and for some reason they need me to tell them what they can eat, even though they can get it themselves. One they were fed, I tried working on the tank again. I don’t know how you are supposed to pay attention to everything they do when you have your own stuff to get done. This is where my frustration began, from this point on I everything that could go wrong did. Well, while I was trying to pay attention to 2 girls and replace my water pump, I also managed to knock over the living room lamp.

Then the pump I got needed a different attachment then what I had, so I had to make a trip to lowes. I walked around for hours trying to find something that would work. I couldn’t find what I was looking for so I decided to make something. I bought a few miscellaneous pvc pipe parts and headed home. Once I got home, I used the wonder tool, the Dremel to trim, cult, and melt the pvc into something I could possibly use. This again took forever, with the end result of the pump not working the way it was suppose to. Anyway, after destroying every piece of pvc I bought and finally just giving up, the pump worked. There is no reason why but it did. This is a pretty pointless blog, so I will stop typing before I curse my tank or break something else.

HA HA HA HA HA! This is me laughing at the idea of you keeping an eye on A and K. First mistake never feed an 8 year old coco puffs...too much sugar = insanity. You've got a lot to learn before October.
